When you’re looking to discover the best site – which minimizes potential problems that can be expensive later on and maximizes your opportunities – you have a partner in Terracon
Our expert team knows where to look to uncover your site’s hidden challenges and opportunities so you can choose well. We’ll assess everything from surface conditions and existing structures to geotechnical factors, and environmental concerns. Let us help you select the perfect location early on that helps you select your site fast, while mitigating risks to avoid costly surprises down the road.
Terracon’s proprietary desktop data platforms integrate a wide array of data sources to help you evaluate, compare, and consider potential sites before physical site visits or exploration. Pivvot combines location intelligence with searchable layers of environmental, geotechnical, and other data to analyze and compare single sites or linear project routes. Whether a base level Aware, or more focused Siting or Routing these solutions allow you to search data layers when you need to. When ready to look deeper, our Stage1 platform draws from 60 years of our project data, public records, and 700 public and private map sources to deliver detailed reports with anticipated subsurface conditions, constructability ratings, and recommended next steps. When physical site exploration is needed, our nationwide fleet of more than 200 drill rigs, expert crews, and geophysics teams can swiftly collect the data you need for final decision-making.
Together, these insights help you avoid potential delays and unexpected challenges, making the site selection process more informed and streamlined.
