Our San Antonio team embraces its local cultural heritage, where each day has a touch of “fiesta.” Founded in 1992, our office has developed relationships founded on genuine networking, forming long-term partnerships within the transportation, power generation and transmission, healthcare, and education (both K-12 and higher education) sectors. The team now comprises more than 135 engineers, geologists, scientists, and technicians providing a comprehensive range of environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials testing and engineering services. Many of our employees grew up in San Antonio, and have an intimate knowledge of the climate, culture, and surrounding area.
Our clients know us to be good listeners — we try to listen more than we talk. We ask clients thoughtful questions to truly understand their project needs and expectations and explore ways we can add value based on our broad expertise. And when it comes to the questions our clients have, our deep bench of caring experts is ready to add insight based on their years of experience. Our nationwide network of local offices — including 27 in Texas — gives us access to extensive resources to find answers to most questions. Our on-site lab also sets us apart; it’s one of Terracon’s larger labs and allows us to do specialized testing. Our solutions are reflected in the work that we do, including work on such projects as materials testing for the University Health System Women and Children’s Health Center, Forst Tower, the Federal Courthouse, I-35 NEX Central, Airport Terminal C Construction, and the UTSA San Pedro II Building.
Along with our passion for our work, our office culture offers our employee-owners exciting and fun reasons to come to work every day. Our office also participates in an annual Client Appreciation party, and during San Antonio’s Fiesta, we deliver fresh tamales to our clients. We recognize Safety Week with a week-long itinerary of events, such as bingo, active intruder classes, glove contests, self-defense training, and a dunk tank.
We are proud of taking a hands-on role in improving our community by volunteering with clean river events, Habitat for Humanity, and food drives.
