Since opening our doors in 2013, Terracon’s Northern New Jersey office has grown from a small startup team into a trusted partner for geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting and materials testing services across the region. We proudly serve clients throughout New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, southern New York state, and Long Island — bringing deep local knowledge and national resources to every project. We specialize in solving complex challenges across a wide range of sectors, including power generation and transmission, transportation and infrastructure, industrial and logistics, commercial, healthcare, and digital infrastructure.

Our Focus

Northern New Jersey’s geology is among the most varied in the country, with glacial deposits, fractured bedrock, and variable soil conditions, not to mention karst. Our team’s deep experience navigating these conditions allows us to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions tailored to each site and project. We also bring specialized expertise in addressing contaminants from asbestos to PFAS, helping clients manage environmental risk and meet regulatory requirements. We partner closely with our Philadelphia East office for fast, accurate materials testing and other capabilities.
