The Terracon DC Metro South office delivers high-quality solutions with a strong emphasis on construction materials engineering and testing. Since opening in 2016, our office has grown to more than 40 professionals supporting some of the most dynamic markets throughout Northern Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.
We primarily serve the power generation and transmission, industrial and logistics, commercial, and digital infrastructure industries, bringing both local responsiveness and nationwide expertise to every project. Our services include geotechnical engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, environmental services, stormwater planning and compliance, and construction monitoring to support environmental compliance.
Clients rely on our team for responsive service, technical expertise, and dependable support that helps keep projects moving from planning through construction. Whether managing demanding schedules or navigating regulatory requirements, we help clients make informed decisions with confidence.
The DC Metro South team has deep experience in digital infrastructure and data center development, as well as industrial and energy-related projects. Our work includes significant solar and pile load testing, supporting major clients and engineering partners to advance critical infrastructure and development initiatives.
Complex projects require more than field resources – they demand sound judgment. With Authorized Project Reviewer (APR) leadership in both geotechnical and construction materials disciplines, we bring experienced technical oversight to every phase of a project.
