The Transtec Group Inc., A Terracon Company joined Terracon in 2025, giving our clients access to Terracon’s national network of pavement and other engineering consulting services. We work with our clients to develop new solutions to reduce costs and increase pavement performance and provide safer, more reliable, and more sustainable transportation options for both now and in the future.

Our Focus

Terracon’s pavement consulting services are led by The Transtec Group, bringing specialized expertise in pavement management, design and evaluation, research, and track services. Together, we deliver practical, data-driven solutions across the pavement lifecycle. Our teams have completed more than 1,100 pavement engineering projects valued at over $65 billion across the US and a dozen countries on five continents, helping clients improve safety, performance, and long-term asset value. 

We make pavements safe, comfortable, affordable, and socially responsible. Our professionals specialize in asphalt and concrete pavements, serving clients on five continents. We work to engineer optimized pavements to reduce construction costs, maintain or accelerate construction schedules, and help protect our clients from risk. Our track services support the delivery of high‑performance pavement surfaces for proving grounds, test tracks, and racetracks, including facilities homologated to FIA Grade 1 (Formula 1®) and FIM Grade A (MotoGP™). Our experience spans projects worldwide, providing pavement design, construction support, and track testing services that help owners deliver safe, durable, and repeatable performance. 

Our professionals provide our clients expertise in pavement consulting, including pavement management, pavement design and evaluations, and pavement research. We’ve also developed software to improve pavement construction and engineering, including ProVAL and HIPERPAV.
