Industrial Stormwater Implementation Program

Terracon has developed a Stormwater Compliance Implementation program applicable to state/federal regulations and  can customize it to site specific/client specific facilities/operations.  Obtaining authorization under the  Multi-Sector General (MSGP) Permit and developing a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is not all that is required by the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES).

Every permit holder is required to implement the Best Management Practices (BMPs) outlined in their SWPPP, perform quarterly inspections and visual monitoring, collect and analyze samples and report them to the state and local agencies and more. Another essential element of stormwater compliance is recordkeeping  to demonstrate that requirements have been met.

Our site specific industrial Stormwater Implementation Program covers the items as listed below:

  • Annual Compliance Evaluation
  • Annual SWPPP Training Programs
  • Notice of Change (NOC)
  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Development
  • Visual Monitoring
  • Monthly or Quarterly Inspections
  • Discharge Monitoring Reporting (DMR)(Net DMR submission)
  • Benchmark Monitoring Reporting
  • Annual and Bi-Annual Sampling
  • Numeric Effluent Limitations (NELs) Sampling
