Terracon will be recognized with multiple awards, a reflection of our commitment to data‑driven innovation, sustainable redevelopment, and climate‑resilient infrastructure — turning complex environmental data into real‑world results.

EBJ Awards

Information Technology: Mobile Data Collection

FactorEarth, a technology platform by Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, a Terracon company, received this award for advancing mobile data collection in remote, disconnected environments. Developed with the Colorado School of Mines, the platform enables offline field collaboration, rapid data syncing, and submission‑ready deliverables that streamline environmental permitting and planning.

Project Merit: Sustainable Redevelopment in Chicago

Terracon received a Project Merit award for its work on the Green Era anaerobic digester project on a former brownfields site on Chicago’s South Side. The project combined sustainable remediation and public‑private partnerships to support renewable energy production, urban farming, job creation and improved access to healthy food.

CCBJ Awards

Innovation/Unique Solution

Terracon received a Project Merit award for Innovation/Unique Solution for its work on the U.S. Steel ESG System Configuration project. The centralized SaaS platform replaced dozens of legacy spreadsheets, standardized greenhouse gas reporting across 30 facilities and improved data accuracy, transparency and reporting efficiency.

Project Merit: Climate Resilient Infrastructure – Wissahickon Valley Park

Skelly and Loy Inc., a Terracon company, received a Project Merit award for Climate-Resilient Infrastructure for the Valley Green Run Restoration and Pedestrian Bridge project in Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia. The project restored a degraded stream corridor and rebuilt a pedestrian connection using a resilient design that protects natural resources while improving public access and safety.
