Agency Policy

Third-Party Search Firm Policy

It is the responsibility of all Third-Party search firms to read this policy prior to contacting Terracon with candidate resumes or requests for search retention. Terracon does not routinely engage Third-Party Search Firms.

Unsolicited Resumes

Unless a Third-Party recruiter or his/her firm is under contract with Terracon and assigned to a specific search, we will not pay a fee for resumes sent directly to any of our employees. Our staff is not authorized to enter into agreements with Third-Party Search Firms. Any resumes sent to our staff by Third-Party Search Firms, not under contract with Terracon and assigned to a specific search, will become the legal property of Terracon.

Having a signed vendor agreement from Terracon is the only way a fee will be paid for a search, candidate referral, or resume submittal. Verbal or written commitments from any member of Terracon’s staff will not be considered binding. The agreement must be signed and dated prior to the date of resume submission and follow resume submittal procedures into our ATS. In addition, Terracon will not pay a fee to a Third-Party recruiter that has not coordinated their recruiting activity with the appropriate member of Terracon’s Talent Management team.
