AQS Environmental of Omaha joined Terracon in May of 2015. AQS was established in 2001 and provides air quality consulting with extensive experience solving mold, asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, and radon issues. AQS serves a client base across Nebraska, Iowa, and the upper Midwest which includes public school districts and higher education institutions, medical facilities, professional consulting firms, and construction companies.

AquaDrill, Inc. joined Terracon in 2008.

Aquaterra, LLC joined Terracon in 2009.

Argus Pacific of Seattle joined Terracon in March of 2015. Founded in 1997, Argus Pacific offers industrial hygiene consultation and training related to asbestos, lead, mold, hazardous waste, emergency response, and numerous other occupational health and safety topics. Argus Pacific is a certified provider of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH/WISHA), and Department of Commerce consulting and regulated training.

Barnett, Stuart & Assoc. joined Terracon in 1986.

Bolin Labs joined Terracon in 1993.

BES joined Terracon in 2016. BES of Houston specializes in resolving existing building enclosure problems and developing new integrated building enclosure designs. The BES staff includes licensed engineers and certified roof and waterproofing consultants who provide design for new facilities or rehabilitation of existing building enclosures that exhibit distress, deterioration, and air and/or water infiltration. Founded in 2008, the Houston firm provides innovative investigation, evaluation, and construction solutions for exterior building systems.

Burleson Consulting Inc. joined Terracon in December of 2020. Burleson is a leading provider of environmental compliance and engineering services for federal, state, municipal, and industrial clients throughout California. Burleson provides quality environmental compliance, site assessment and remediation, biological habitat restoration, and water resources services to government and private-sector clients from its headquarters in Folsom, Calif., and location in Monterey, Calif.

CHJ of southern California joined Terracon in December of 2016. CHJ was established in 2011 and provides geotechnical and materials testing services from its three southern California locations. From its headquarters and laboratory in Colton, and with a laboratory in Victorville and an office in Palm Desert, Calif., CHJ supports projects throughout the San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. CHJ’s services include geotechnical investigations, soil testing, engineering geology, environmental consulting, materials testing, and construction inspection.

Dente of Albany, N.Y. joined Terracon in July of 2017. Dente was founded in 1993, and provides geotechnical, geohydrologic, and construction materials engineering and testing services, including special inspection and drilling capabilities. Dente engineers, geologists, and technical experts have completed more than 4,000 projects throughout the Northeast including the Hudson Valley, southern and western New York, southern Vermont, and western Massachusetts. Services typically include planning, managing and performing exploratory site investigation, laboratory testing programs, preparing geotechnical reports, and managing and performing construction inspection and testing services for clients in construction, education, health care, and other engineering companies.

Desert Earth of Tucson, Ariz., joined Terracon in 1992.

Drash Consulting Engineers, Inc. joined Terracon in 2004.

Dressler Consulting Engineers, Inc. joined Terracon in 2011.

Drilling Engineers Inc. (DEI) joined Terracon in July of 2022. For nearly 60 years, DEI has served public and private sector clients with a complete suite of subsurface drilling services and has a long history of collaboration with Terracon. DEI is now known as Terracon and will continue to operate from its Fort Collins location with support from Terracon’s existing Fort Collins office and additional Front Range locations in Denver, Greeley, Longmont, and Colorado Springs, Colorado; Cheyenne, Wyoming; and more than 180 locations nationwide.

Dunkelberger joined Terracon in June of 2013. Dunkelberger is based in West Palm Beach, Fla. Founded in 1994, Dunkelberger provides geotechnical engineering, construction materials and inspection, environmental assessments, and building inspection services. Client sectors include aviation, infrastructure, government, commercial real estate, power, and solid waste.

EEI joined Terracon in June of 2017. Founded in 1990, EEI offers a wide range of comprehensive services including geotechnical, materials, construction, exploration, laboratory, and associated capabilities from its headquarters in Indianapolis and office in Niles, Mich. With a staff of engineers and scientists with unique expertise in site exploration and geotechnical engineering, EEI has contributed to countless industrial, commercial, educational, and governmental projects.

EarthTec Inc. joined Terracon in 2012.

Empire Laboratories of Longmont, Colo., joined Terracon in 1992.

Engineering Concepts of Greensboro, N.C. joined Terracon in December of 2017. Founded in 1991, the company serves a range of clients in the commercial, education, and government sectors on projects throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The experienced Engineering Concepts team provides facilities capabilities in North Carolina and nationally.

ESI joined Terracon in June of 2019. ESI was established in 1986 and environmental, and natural and cultural resource solutions. ESI’s services include environmental permitting; environmental site assessment and permitting; air quality; soil evaluation; wetlands mitigation and analysis; archaeology and cultural resource studies; underwater archaeology; endangered and threatened species studies; forestry and land management; geographic information systems (GIS); and sustainable services.

EPG joined Terracon in September of 2020. Founded in 1999, EPG offers interdisciplinary services including environmental planning and permitting, landscape architecture planning and design, biological and cultural resources, earth sciences, paleontology, public involvement, geographic information systems (GIS), and environmental mitigation and construction support.

ESA Energy Systems Associates, Inc. joined Terracon in 2010.

Ferguson Risk Management joined Terracon in June of 2023. Ferguson Risk Management has served regional and national clients in the public and private sectors with a high level of excellence in environmental and occupational health and safety risk services.

Flat Earth Archeology joined Terracon in September of 2024. Flat Earth is an established firm providing archaeology and cultural resources management and compliance services to clients in Arkansas and the surrounding region. It will continue providing their national and local clients with an array of environmental planning and cultural resources services, while gaining significantly more resources throughout Arkansas and nationwide.

GAGE Group, Inc. joined Terracon in 2003.

Gallet & Associates, Inc. joined Terracon in 2009.

Genesis Environmental Consulting, Inc. joined Terracon in 2004.

GeoCapitol joined Terracon in November of 2017. GeoCapitol is a District of Columbia Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) company headquartered in Washington, D.C., providing geotechnical engineering, hydrogeologic, environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection services. Within the CBE program, GeoCapitol is considered a Local Business Enterprise (LBE). GeoCapitol’s team members have more than 30 years of experience working in D.C. and have developed long-standing working relationships with local regulatory officials.

GeoConcepts joined Terracon in November of 2017. GeoConcepts provides geotechnical engineering, hydrogeologic, environmental services, and materials testing and inspection. Located in Ashburn, Va., GeoConcepts offers these services during project planning, design, and construction phase services for clients throughout the region. GeoConcepts’ experience includes public and private projects ranging from roadway, mass transit, and utility infrastructure, to facilities serving the government, educational, commercial, institutional, multi-family, and health care markets.

GEC joined Terracon in June of 2019. Geotechnical & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (GEC) is an environmental, geotechnical, and materials consulting firm that serves public- and private-sector clients throughout Georgia and the Southeast in the education, commercial, industrial, and government markets.

GC&T joined Terracon in October of 2016. Formed in 1990, GC&T is a privately owned firm primarily dedicated to providing geotechnical and materials testing services. GC&T provides services for transportation and infrastructure, commercial, industrial, retail, residential, office, medical, and hospitality projects throughout the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

GET joined Terracon in March of 2021. GET is a full-service geotechnical, environmental, and materials testing firm serving public- and private-sector clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

IAQ Consultants, Inc. joined Terracon in 2009.

IHI Environmental joined Terracon in September of 2012. IHI Environmental is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with additional offices in Emeryville, Calif., Denver, Phoenix, and Seattle. Established in 1980, IHI Environmental provides industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and environmental consulting services to public and private sector clients across the western U.S.

JGI Eastern, Inc. joined Terracon in 2007.

KTE Consultants joined Terracon in 2003.

Liesch joined Terracon in January of 2013. Liesch is based in Minneapolis, Minn., and has additional offices in St. Paul, Minn., and Milwaukee, Wisc. Founded in 1968, Liesch provides a range of environmental services including industrial hygiene, industrial water and wastewater, air quality, air compliance, environmental compliance, environmental engineering, and testing services to clients.

Maxxim Environmental, Inc. joined Terracon in 1999.

Mayes joined Terracon in 2016. Known as one of the largest providers of construction quality assurance services in the Pacific Northwest, Mayes has been locally owned and operated in Lynwood (Seattle), with additional offices in Tacoma, Wash. and Portland, Ore., since 1991. The Mayes team provides special inspections, materials testing, condition surveys and other materials consulting for owners, developers, architects, contractors, and structural engineers.

Metcalf joined Terracon in 2024. It provides services including archaeology, architectural history, and software applications. The combined services delivers solutions for commercial development, energy, federal, state, and tribal agencies, transportation, telecommunications, and utilities. Clients also benefit from Metcalf’s FactorEarth, a technology platform offering applications including FactorEarth Record that bring data collection, collaboration and efficient form export capabilities together.

Midwest Testing Laboratory, Inc. joined Terracon in 2010.

Mike Hawkins Co. joined Terracon in 1999.

Neil O. Anderson and Associates joined Terracon in April 2014, and are based in Lodi, Calif. Founded in 1991, Neil O. Anderson and Associates is a geotechnical, environmental, and materials testing engineering firm specializing in energy, geotechnical instrumentation, geophysical methods, federal highways, and aquatic facility design services for private and public sector clients. They have additional offices located in Sacramento and Concord, Calif.

Former employees of New England EnviroStrategies joined Terracon’s Manchester, N.H. office and offer environmental services throughout the Northeast. 

Nodarse & Associates, Inc. joined Terracon in 2011.

NORCAL Geophysical Consultants, Inc. (NORCAL) joined Terracon in November of 2015. NORCAL is located in Sonoma Country, Calif., and was founded in 1983. By providing geophysical technologies in support of geologic, groundwater, environmental, and engineering investigations, NORCAL helps strengthen Terracon’s West Coast presence.

NTL Engineering & Geoscience, Inc. joined Terracon in May of 2008.

Pickett-Jacobs Consultants, Inc. joined Terracon in May of 2003.

Pivvot Inc. joined Terracon in May of 2021, bringing together Pivvot’s industry-leading location intelligence with Terracon’s multidiscipline engineering consulting services and proprietary data solutions to enhance project delivery for energy-sector clients. Pivvot streamlines projects with geospatial location intelligence, including renewable energy siting and suitability, electric transmission and pipeline routing, environmental impact analysis, and custom data acquisition. The company primarily serves clients in the power generation and transmission, engineering and construction, and oil and natural gas markets.

PMI joined Terracon in July of 2023, adding engineering and environmental services to clients in Arkansas and the Southeast U.S. Since its founding in 1988, PMI has provided a range of engineering, environmental and field services to clients. The firm’s team is comprised of professional engineers and geologists, environmental scientists, and construction/remediation specialists who work together to provide turnkey projects throughout Arkansas and the surrounding states.

Raba Kistner, Inc. joined Terracon in 2015.

RGA Environmental joined Terracon in May of 2014. RGA Environmental was founded in 1985, and is based in Emeryville, Calif. RGA Environmental provides hazardous materials, industrial hygiene, safety, emergency response, litigation, and environmental construction management services to public and private sector clients.

ROC joined Terracon in 2016. ROC is based in Rochester, N.Y., and serves clients across the public and private sectors with projects across the commercial, healthcare, energy and government markets. ROC’s services include subsurface exploration; geotechnical engineering design recommendations and laboratory analyses; and geotechnical field inspection services.

Rowley International, Inc. joined Terracon in 2014.

Rhode Island-based SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services (SAGE) joined Terracon in June 2024. As a leading provider of environmental services, Rhode Island-based SAGE offers its clients services including assessment through remediation; redevelopment, permitting, and regulatory compliance; health and safety; environmental and geotechnical drilling, and specialized remedial injections.

S&L joined Terracon in 2020. S&L has built a reputation for excellence delivering professional services including mining, civil, and environmental engineering; National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance; natural resource management; wastewater permitting; noise and air quality investigations; hazardous waste management investigations and remedial design; industrial hygiene studies; archaeology and cultural resources; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); and water, wastewater, and remediation treatment systems.

Spencer J. Buchanan Associates, Inc. joined Terracon in 2006.

Sphere Environmental Services, LLC joined Terracon in 2013.

Sport joined Terracon in April of 2021. Sport, based in Midland, Texas, delivers comprehensive services to large oil and gas corporations and small, independent energy firms, including environmental site assessments, air permitting, water well testing, soil and water remediation, spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC), and litigation support.

SMA joined Terracon in 2018. SMA leverages decades of experience to deliver environmental consulting, investigation, remediation, data management and 3D visualization solutions to clients from its headquarters in Chicago (Downers Grove, Ill.) and offices in St. Louis (Hartford, Ill.), Rockford, Ill., and Indianapolis. SMA serves clients including industrial manufacturers, insurance companies, real estate developers, state and local agencies, and energy companies.

Stafford joined Terracon in December of 2010. Stafford provides extensive consulting engineering services related to building envelope systems, including commercial roofing and waterproofing systems. Stafford is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., with offices in Raleigh, N.C., and Jacksonville, Fla. Stafford was established in 1964 with the mission of providing engineering guidance for roofing and waterproofing systems. Clients include healthcare, industrial, government, schools, universities, architecture, engineering and construction firms.

Steel Inspection Services, LLC joined Terracon in 2014.

TAM joined Terracon in 2020. TAM provides professional services including building enclosure consulting, property condition assessments, forensic and investigative engineering, roof consulting, project management, structural engineering, and a variety of building testing services from its offices in Virginia.

Texplor of Dallas, Inc. joined Terracon in 2024.

Titan Atlantic Group, Inc. joined Terracon in 2002.

Vernon Hills Labs joined Terracon in 2015.

Wang Engineering Inc. joined Terracon in February of 2022. Wang provides geotechnical services to a wide range of clients throughout the U.S. including state and federal government as well as the private sector. The company has extensive experience performing geotechnical services for the City of Chicago, the Illinois and Indiana departments of transportation, and on other public transportation projects including highways, tollways, and railroads.

A subsidiary company, Wang Testing Services, Inc., has been sold separately and was not purchased by Terracon as part of the acquisition. Wang Engineering and Terracon will continue to work with Wang Testing Services, Inc. as a teaming partner.
