Pavement testing to meet unique project goals

Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) testing

This non-destructive testing is used to evaluate pavement structural capacity and support conditions. FWD testing supports pavement management programs, rehabilitation planning, and verification of pavement condition on design-build and P3 projects. Testing meets applicable DOT and project standards, with results reviewed by pavement engineers.

Pavement texture testing

High-resolution line-laser testing is used to measure pavement surface texture. Texture data supports evaluations related to friction, splash and spray, noise performance, and the development of construction and maintenance specifications.

Pavement friction and smoothness testing

Adequate pavement friction and smoothness are critical for safety, ride quality, and long-term performance. Our professionals perform friction testing to investigate skid-related concerns, identify causes of friction loss, and support corrective action planning.
