OLATHE, Kan. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces John Sallman, P.G., senior principal, has been named national director of due diligence services. The strategic change is designed to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow its presence nationally.
Environmental due diligence helps clients identify and manage environmental risks and liabilities associated with properties to support informed investment and development decisions. In his new internal role, Sallman will work with due diligence leaders, national account managers, and sector leaders to expand Terracon’s due diligence service offerings. Externally, Sallman will strengthen new and long-term relationships with a variety of clients to ensure the company is providing consistent elevated client experiences through due diligence advisory consulting services.
Sallman most recently served as director of environmental services for Terracon’s Eastern Operating Group, which includes 25 states in the Northeast, Southeast and parts of the Midwest. Since joining Terracon in 2002, Sallman has held a variety of roles leading various environmental projects and teams, as well as managing the company’s Fort Worth, Texas, office. A licensed professional geologist in two states, Sallman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental geology from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Science in geological sciences from Michigan State University.
“John’s commitment to excellence in environmental services will allow us to expand our offerings deeper into the project lifecycle and continue to grow this important part of our business,” said Mike Hagemeister, P.E., Terracon national director of environmental services.
Terracon is an employee-owned, multidiscipline consulting firm comprised of more than 8,000 curious minds focused on solving engineering and technical challenges from more than 200 locations nationwide.
