  • Sprayed fire-resistive materials
  • Fire-resistant penetrations and joints
  • Mastic and intumescent fire-resistant coatings

  • Other specialty items/requirements

A responsive partner for successful testing and inspections

We cultivate experienced inspectors and support ongoing certification to meet our clients’ needs. Additionally, our network of more than 200 offices nationwide enables us to staff your project on your schedule, including overnight inspections.

From start to finish, our approach encompasses everything you need for a successful testing and inspection program, including:

  • A well-defined scope to minimize costly change orders
  • A testing and inspection plan aligned with the Statement of Special Inspections shared with all parties involved
  • International Code Council (ICC)-certified personnel who understand local building code requirements
  • The ability to staff qualified inspectors for the required workload

Consistent communication between all parties keeps projects moving. We set a preconstruction meeting and additional milestone meetings before the start of key construction phases. Local officials are invited as needed.

Consulting throughout your project’s lifecycle eases project delivery

Our construction inspectors work closely with the owner, designer, local building officials, contractors, engineer of record, and other stakeholders to review specifications and identify any aspects that are not in compliance with local code requirements.

We work with your design team throughout the entire design process, providing feedback for the statement and schedule of special inspections and interpreting local code requirements to avoid costly changes during construction. During the construction phase, you benefit from our ability to communicate with the designer to understand expectations and evaluate the drawings to determine whether your project meets jurisdictional requirements.
