Terracon Names Linda Dobkins Assistant National Manager of Laboratory Services

OLATHE, Kan. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, has named Linda Dobkins, P.E., P.G., as assistant national manager of Terracon’s Laboratory Services Group.

Dobkins fills a strategic role that will support Terracon’s national network of more than 140 laboratories as Terracon continues to grow nationwide. Her expertise includes field and laboratory testing of all major subfields of construction materials engineering, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, quality management system implementation, and internal audits. In this role, Dobkins will focus on strategic initiatives to improve safety, quality, technical operations, and expansion and growth aspects of Terracon’s Laboratory Services Group.

Currently based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dobkins earned Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering and geology from the University of Wyoming. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and a registered Professional Geologist in Wyoming. Dobkins is also a past member of Terracon’s Inclusive Culture Leadership Team, an authorized project reviewer, is affiliated with numerous professional groups, and is an ASTM International Committee member.

Dobkins brings more than 23 years of experience in field and laboratory testing services throughout the Western United States. She has performed in a variety of leadership roles and her project experience includes transportation infrastructure, airports, military facilities, pipelines, railroads, buildings, refineries, oil and gas facilities, wind farms, and tech-related facilities.
