Additional Environmental Requirements
Industrial Stormwater: General Permit renewed on April 1, 2022 and is valid for five years.  Notices of Intent (NOI) were due September 28, 2022. Maintain records of quarterly inspections, outfall monitoring, and annual inspections with your SWPPP. Certify Visual Assessments, Annual Inspections, and any information requested by the NDEE.

Hazardous Waste: Accurate waste determinations are a critical step in managing solid waste. The quantity of hazardous waste generated in a calendar month determines the applicability of federal and state requirements.  Large Quantity Generators (LQGs) must submit a Biennial Hazardous Waste Report for the 2021 calendar year electronically using NDEE’s RCRAInfo Industry Application.

Wastewater (NPDES/SDS): Submit discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) at regular intervals per permit requirements (electronically) at the EPA’s NetDMR.

SPCC Plan: Update SPCC Plans every five years or whenever there is a change in oil storage or spill potential.

Air Permit Applications: Forms for the State of Nebraska (NDEE) are here:

NDEE Air Construction Permit Forms and may be submitted electronically to the email indicated in Form 1.0, General Instructions. For the City of Omaha, forms and instructions are here:
