WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – The Terracon Foundation announced a $50,000 grant to Purdue University to fund the Terracon Endowment for the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering (LSCCE), which will support attracting undergraduate and graduate students to geotechnical engineering.
“This grant establishes a permanent endowment that will advance strategic initiatives for the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering,” said Kellen Heavin, P.E., manager of Terracon’s Indianapolis office and a Purdue graduate. “The school is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 civil engineering undergraduate and graduate programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report, and the endowment will support its commitment to produce the most well-rounded, highest performing graduates to enter the engineering profession.”

Its West Lafayette campus has more than 50,000 students representing more than 135 countries while the Indianapolis campus boasts nearly 20 STEM-focused majors.
