To meet the needs of the growing region, Terracon’s Athens office was opened in 2018 to more efficiently serve the local Athens and northeast Georgia communities. Our office and on-site laboratory are staffed with talented local team members and this laboratory location is accredited through the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP), specializing in soils and concrete testing. Our employee-owners are focused on delivering geotechnical investigations, materials testing and Special Inspections services to diverse market sectors such as higher education, commercial/ retail, industrial/ distribution, healthcare, power/ energy, transportation, multi-family, and municipal projects. Terracon’s environmental and facilities services are also available to the local northeast Georgia region via supplemental staff from the Atlanta office, located in Lawrenceville, GA.
