Terracon Names Tom Lazott Assistant Service Line Director for Environmental Services  

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Tom Lazott, P.G., has been named assistant service line director for environmental services for the company’s Eastern Operating Group. In this role, he will partner with operations and department managers in 18 states to develop and drive growth strategies, strengthen execution and consistency, support talent development, and safety leadership.

Lazott fills a strategic role connecting strategy and operations for environmental services as Terracon continues to grow nationwide. With more than 30 years of experience, Lazott has held leadership roles across operations, strategic planning, environmental consulting, business development, environmental compliance, and site investigation and remediation, while helping develop strong teams and organizational capabilities.

“Tom’s extensive experience in environmental services leadership will enable Terracon’s teams to expand and integrate new capabilities to support the range of work our clients across the country with a focus in the eastern U.S.,” said Mike Hagemeister, P.E., Terracon national director of environmental services. 

Since joining Terracon in 2025, Lazott has served as a principal and regional environmental practice leader with responsibility for multiple offices in New England. Lazott has experience participating in various organizations such as the Environmental Business Council, local town committees, and the University of Massachusetts (Lowell) Environmental, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences Department advisory board. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science (geology) and is a licensed professional geologist in New Hampshire. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
