Terracon Announces Partnership with Department of War SkillBridge Program

OLATHE, Kan. –  Terracon is now an official partner in the Department of War SkillBridge Program, a nationally recognized workforce initiative that allows qualified military service members to spend their final 180 days of active duty gaining hands-on experience with approved industry partners.

“Partnering with Skillbridge allows Terracon to support service members as they transition into the civilian workforce, while helping build our meaningful, diverse talent pipeline,” said Scott Craig, military programs and veteran hiring liaison for Terracon. “Participants continue to receive military pay and benefits during the fellowship, and roles have the potential for full-time employment in engineering, project management, and related professional roles.”

According to Scott, veterans can bring unique advantages to a workplace due to their leadership and management experience, ability to think tactically and strategically, commitment to overcome adversity and obstacles, dedication to completing tasks, organizational loyalty and more.
