Terracon Names Leif Schonteich Federal Cybersecurity Manager

OLATHE, Kan. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Leif Schonteich has been named manager of the company’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance program. The role reinforces Terracon’s long-term commitment to meeting the needs of federal clients with dedicated resources to protect sensitive information in the delivery of current and future critical national security infrastructure requirements.

Schonteich brings more than 25 years of experience leading complex safety and environmental projects and supporting client development efforts. His background includes experience in a variety of roles managing environmental services and geotechnical operations, as well as support of business development for regional and federal services. Schonteich earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health and a Master of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of North Dakota, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is an authorized project reviewer and holds professional certifications as a professional services marketer, safety professional, and hazardous materials manager.
