Terracon Names Misty Huddleston National Manager of Investor-Owned Utility Development

OLATHE, Kan. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Misty Huddleston, Ph.D., has been named national manager of independent investor-owned utility development.

In this role, Huddleston will lead Terracon’s strategy and growth across investor-owned utility and developer-driven energy markets, with a focus on advancing early‑stage project development, environmental planning and permitting, and integrated delivery solutions. She will work closely with Terracon’s environmental, geotechnical, and facilities teams to support utility-scale power generation, transmission, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

Huddleston earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in wildlife and fisheries science and a doctoral degree in natural resources management, all from the University of Tennessee. She is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will continue to support clients and teams across Terracon’s national footprint.
