Role focuses on helping clients with telecommunications and broadband networks

OLATHE, Kan. – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, has named Kathy Eisele national manager for telecommunications and broadband.

Eisele’s role will center on supporting clients through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program.
The BEAD initiative is a cornerstone of federal efforts to close the digital divide. Eisele will lead Terracon’s team, which helps states and grantees navigate the funding process and successfully deploy broadband infrastructure.

“Terracon is working closely with state broadband offices and grantees—including internet service providers—to implement broadband projects that will bring connectivity to every corner of the country,” Eisele said.

Eisele earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Villanova University, Pennsylvania, and has over 25 years of experience in environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance. She joined Terracon in 2018 as part of the Philadelphia West office and quickly established herself as a leader in the Northeast telecommunications program, covering markets from Virginia to Maine and central Pennsylvania. She will now apply her extensive knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 Historic Preservation compliance to direct Terracon services on clients’ projects throughout the country.
