Terracon Names Kevin Green Chief Information Security Officer

OLATHE, Kan. — Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, has named Kevin Green as chief information security officer. He will lead a team responsible for defending against cybersecurity threats, monitoring potential threats, ensuring compliance, and increasing internal security awareness.

“With more than 25 years of experience providing value-added information technology solutions to the architecture, engineering, and consulting industry, Kevin is uniquely qualified to lead Terracon’s efforts to support client service, protect company data, and minimize potential business disruption as we continue to grow,” said Mike Yost, J.D., chief administrative officer, Terracon.

Most recently, Green served as the manager of information security for Terracon and has also held roles in infrastructure architecture as well as network and systems administration. He earned a master’s degree in corporate communications and technology and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Rollins College. He holds numerous professional certifications, including enterprise engineering, security leadership, project management, and data center virtualization. Additionally, Green has been actively volunteering at Orange Technical College in Winter Park, Florida, for more than 20 years.
