Terracon Names Laura Campa Materials Service Line Director

OLATHE, Kan.Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Laura Campa, P.E., has been named Materials service line director. The strategic change is designed to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow its presence nationally.

Campa joined Terracon in 2003 as a project manager in the Geotechnical service line and has served as a department manager for Materials, office manager, and Materials national director. She is also an authorized project reviewer, Terracon Foundation chair and member, and Employee Engagement Leadership Team member. She is a founding member of iWIL, an employee resource group dedicated to increasing the number of women in leadership positions.

“Laura has had a positive impact in every area she’s touched at Terracon, and we’re confident she’ll deliver positive results in this new role,” said Mike Covert, P.G., executive vice president of services and quality. “She’s a strong leader with a great combination of drive and initiative, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to connect with people.”

Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a registered professional engineer in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. She is currently based in Terracon’s office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after working long-term in the San Antonio, Texas, area.
