Terracon Names Ty Alexander Vice President and Pacific Northwest Regional Manager

SEATTLETerracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces Ty Alexander, P.E., has been named vice president and Pacific Northwest (PNW) Regional Manager.

“Terracon is well-positioned to take advantage of exciting opportunities for growth in the Pacific Northwest,” Alexander said. “I’m eager to build upon the outstanding team and culture of the region’s offices and continue Terracon’s successful approach of immersing ourselves in the communities we serve and safeguarding our clients’ investments.”

Alexander has spent his entire career with Terracon. He started as an intern, then moved into office manager positions with Terracon’s Greeley, Colo., and Springfield, Mo., offices, before recently relocating to lead the PNW region.

An active participant in professional and community organizations, Alexander has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for over six years. Additionally, Alexander served as a board member and the former president of the Springfield Contractors Association, where he helped launch Build U, a program offering high school students opportunities to learn about the A/E/C industry through on-site job tours and hands-on experiences. He also served on the board and executive committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.
