Terracon Foundation Awards More than $97,000 in University and Community Grants

OLATHE, Kan. — The Terracon Foundation today announced it has awarded $97,712 in grants and scholarships to 8 universities and 17 nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. Established as the community investment arm of Terracon, the Foundation has granted nearly $4 million to community organizations, universities, scholarships for dependents of employees, and disaster relief efforts.

“The Terracon Foundation is pleased to continue its commitment to caring for the communities where our employee-owners live and work,” said Derek Koller, CIH, CHMM, chair of the Terracon Foundation and office manager based in the Tuscon office. “We are honored to support engineering schools, youth STEM education, and more.”

The Terracon Foundation presented a total of $42,500 to 8 universities:

• Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh, N.C.
