Terracon was selected by Colorado State University (CSU) to perform geotechnical foundation engineering and construction materials engineering testing and observation services for the new $13 million Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) and $7 million Academic and Training Center (ATC) Athletic Department. Terracon's services provided during construction included, geotechnical foundation and pavement recommendations; earthwork, hot mix asphalt, concrete, masonry, field/laboratory testing, observations and consultations; reinforcing steel and caisson (drilled shaft) observation; vapor emission testing of concrete floor slabs; structural steel erection and fireproofing observation and testing; synthetic turf aggregate base testing/observation
