Sanofi-Avenits, a leading global pharmaceutical company, with a presence in Tucson for more than 17 years, doubled the space of its current facility with the building of its new state-of-the-art facility on their new 11.5 acre campus on Innovation Drive in Oro Valley, Ariz. The two-story, 110,350-square-foot, LEED Certified research facility includes a mixture of chemistry and biology laboratories and associates support facilities and offices. Twin Peaks InterchangeGeolocation: 32.4144, -111.1728

The opening of the Twin Peaks interchange marks the completion of an $84 million project more than 20 years in the making. The project was constructed to help relieve traffic congestion in the Town of Marana and the northwestern area of metropolitan Tucson. The new Twin Peaks Interchange is located on Interstate 10 (I-10) at exit 245 between the Avra Valley Road and Cortaro Road interchanges. Terracon provided full-time construction materials quality control and Special Inspection services for the project.
