Terracon reviewed an existing ESA and conducted additional ESAs on various portions of the site for acquisition. Terracon installed over 100 soil borings/monitoring wells on-site to investigate historical releases associated with a nine block area outside of downtown Fort Worth in association with assessment for a VCP closure on the site. Terracon provided oversight for the removal of the 13 underground storage tanks (USTs), which included removal and sampling in accordance with RG-411. Terracon also conducted the geotechnical investigations and construction materials engineering and testing services for the West 7th Development.

Terracon opened an office in Fort Worth in early 1995 as a branch of the Dallas office offering construction materials engineering and testing services. With the acquisition of HBC Engineering in late 1998, the two offices were merged. Environmental services were added in 2002, and geotechnical engineering services were added in August, 2008. Also in 2008, the Fort Worth office moved into its current 16,000 square foot facility, fully accommodating the nearly 30 employees that work there.
