Liberty Bridge in Falls ParkGeolocation: 34.8526, -82.394

The Liberty Bridge is 345 feet long, 12 feet wide and 8 inches thick, the concrete reinforced deck is supported by a single suspension cable. Terracon was chosen by the City of Greenville to work on this project due to our involvement on numerous successful downtown ventures. Terracon provided micropile and foundation inspection services for the bridge abutments and steel masts. Concrete and structural steel inspections were also provided throughout the project. Near the completion of the bridge, Terracon performed a bridge deck deflection study to measure the deflection of the deck under various pedestrian loads.
