Since 2002, WPC, A Terracon Company, has been providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering and testing services to the Georgia Ports Authority. The Port of Savannah is the fourth largest container port in the U.S. and the fastest growing port in the country. Overall, the Port of Savannah has a total container berth length of more than 15,000 feet and more than 1,400 acres of storage and transportation facilities. Services have been provided directly to the Georgia Ports Authority Engineering Department, as well as through the port contractors CH2M Hill and Moffatt & Nichol.
