Terracon provided the geotechnical engineering analyses and construction observation and testing services for the 20+ story Beach Club Condominiums on Pensacola Beach, Fla. Services provided during the initial phase consisted of overseeing field services and providing geotechnical recommendations for building foundation design, general site work, and pavement design. As the project proceeded to construction, Terracon provided observation of the auger-cast pile installation, auger-cast pile load test, as well as compaction testing, concrete testing, and observation of the post-tensioning of the concrete floor slabs.
