SUMMARY:API Pipeline Conference 2019
DESCRIPTION:JOIN US for API Pipeline Conference and control room forum\n \n\nAPI Pipeline Conference \nPointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Hotel and Resort\, Phoenix\, Arizona\nApril 9-11\n\nYou need a trusted partner to help navigate the complexity of oil and gas projects. Our experienced scientists and engineers are here to help.\n\nOur employee-owners will share information on hot conference topics from geohazard identification\, to integrity management\, to initial release assessment and corrective action services.\n\n \nPresentation: Pipeline Integrity – Geohazard Identification\, Assessment\, and Mitigation\nBen Taylor\, Terracon Louisville\nTuesday\, April 9\, 10:50 am – 11:20 am \n\nPipeline failures due to external natural forces are significant failures impacting critical infrastructure and the safe and essential transport of oil and gas across our country. It is important for owners and stakeholders to proactively manage their geohazards risk and maintain pipeline integrity. PHMSA requires each owner to develop a Pipeline Integrity Management Plan (IMP) to safely manage the impact of geohazards such as landslides\, karst features\, abandoned mines\, and faulting. Terracon has developed a pipeline geohazard management strategy to understand the importance of geohazards and how they impact new construction as well as existing alignments by combining knowledge of local geologic conditions and significant historical data with GIS-based systems to support a phased approach to identify\, assess\, and mitigate geohazard threats.\nDon’t have a chance to make it to the conference?\nClick here to read more about our pipeline services and capabilities.\nContacts\n \nMike Adams\nNational program manager oil and gas services\nMichael.Adams@terracon.com\n \nDan Schneider\, P.E.\nNational director\nDan.Schneider@terracon.com\n \nKevin Ernst\, P.E.\nKevin.Ernst@terracon.com\n \nBen Taylor\, P.E.\nBenjamin.Taylor@terracon.com\n\n \n\n

SUMMARY:Permian Basin Association of Pipeliners Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Join us\n\n \n\nBrandyn Littleton is a Professional Wetland Scientist and manages Terracon’s Environmental Planning Group in our Dallas/Fort Worth office. He has 15 years of experience in environmental consulting\, focusing on assessments of wetlands/WOTUS and USACE coordination.\n\nHe will be speaking about the USACE/EPA Rules and Guidance pertaining to wetlands/WOTUS and implementation of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (Section 404). Rules and guidance defining WOTUS have been continually evolving since the inception of the CWA\, and a proposed revised WOTUS rule was recently published in the Federal Register on February 14\, 2019. We’ll discuss this proposed rule\, earlier iterations (1986\, 2008\, 2015) and how the changes may affect pipeline projects.\n\nTerracon will also be sponsoring lunch.\n\nFor information on our capabilities\, visit terracon.com\nContact\nBrandyn Littleton\n\nBrandyn.Littleton@terracon.com

SUMMARY:KSPE Annual Convention - 2019
DESCRIPTION:JOIN US for 2019 KSPE Annual Convention\n\n\nApril 17-19\n\nOmni Louisville Hotel in Louisville\, Kentucky.\n\nTerracon has performed engineering and/or regulatory services for hundreds of wind project sites nationwide over the past two years. With our detailed knowledge of wind farm and transmission structures\, our engineers have developed valuable site-specific solutions that have maximized on-time\, cost-effective delivery. Through these projects\, we have established strong\, ongoing relationships with industry leaders in the planning\, design\, and construction of wind energy projects\, including Patrick & Henderson (P&H)\, a respected firm providing civil engineering and design service to the wind energy community.\n\n \nPresentation: Foundation systems for Wind Turbines\nYazen Khasawneh\, PhD\, P.E.\, Geotechnical Services Manager at Terracon\n1:50 pm – 2:40 pm \n\nThe presentation will address three common foundation types. The shallow rigid foundation\, the P&H piers\, and the ground anchor foundation system. Design concepts\, cost\, constructability\, and long-term performance will be compared for the three alternatives.\nDon’t have a chance to make it to the conference?\nClick here to read more about our power generation services and capabilities.\nContacts\nFor more information on our nationwide power generation services\, please contact:\n\nBlair Loftis\nPortland\, OR\n(503) 742 7170\n\n \n\n
