DESCRIPTION:Join us at NASTT 2025 No-Dig Show – Booth #839\n\n\n\n\n\nRisk management across the trenchless lifecycle\n\n\n\nTerracon’s expert team helps you identify\, assess\, and mitigate risks on a trenchless project:   \n\n\n\nIdentify Risks: Through smart exploration\, we uncover potential issues including subsurface conditions\, environmental impacts\, and construction challenges. \n\n\n\nAssess Risks: Combining our knowledge of your project’s risks and trenchless methods\, we help you evaluate these risks’ likelihood and potential impact on a trenchless project. \n\n\n\nMitigate Risks: We recommend and implement strategies to minimize or eliminate the identified risks\, such as using advanced geophysical methods and obtaining necessary environmental permits. \n\n\n\nGeotechnical Services \n\n\n\nGeophysics Services \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n	\n \n\n\n\nDon’t miss trenchless insights from our presenter!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRailroad Crossings via Trenchless Methods\n\n\n\nJason Heinz\, P.E.\, geotechnical services department manager \n\n\n\nTuesday\, April 1\, 10:00-10:25 a.m.\, 111/113 Colorado Convention Center \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n	\n \n\n\n\nOur trenchless design solutions use geophysics to mitigate risk\n\n\n\nUsing advanced non-invasive geophysical and remote sensing screening methods to learn about your site’s subsurface helps determine the best approach for your trenchless project. We’re staffed with the most geophysical professionals and the largest fleet of near-surface equipment compared to competitors. \n\n\n\nOur geophysics professionals are your best source for determining the best screening tools for your site and project. A few common methods include ground penetrating radar (GPR)\, light detection and ranging (LiDAR)\, 2D electrical resistivity\, and seismic refraction. Geophysical and remote sensing screening tools can be especially helpful for sites covering many acres or those with challenging terrain or continuous traffic. \n\n\n\nTerracon’s trenchless engineering experts have a deep understanding of geological conditions and the risks they present with various trenchless methods. They’re experienced in providing trenchless evaluations and detailed designs for horizontal direction drilling (HDD)\, microtunneling\, and pipe jacking\, to name a few. They have successfully delivered projects in rural\, suburban\, and urban areas with complex geologies\, high traffic\, and environmental considerations. \n\n\n\nTrenchless Services \n\n\n\nOur environmental planning & permitting services ease project delivery\n\n\n\nTerracon is more than a geotechnical firm. We have a national environmental practice with depth\, experience\, and relationships to guide you through federal and local regulatory processes. \n\n\n\nAssisting trenchless design clients with federal and local permitting for site development is one of our specialties. Other services include Phase I ESAs\, wetland delineations\, threatened and endangered species surveys\, cultural resource services\, erosion and sediment control plans\, and stormwater management plans. \n\n\n\nThe requirements under NEPA can present an obstacle to developing trenchless design projects but are not difficult to navigate with an experienced team. We have a deep bench of practitioners who have navigated this process – we’ll make it easier for you.  \n\n\n\n\nLearn more about environmental planning & permitting services \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n	\n	\n	\n \n\n\n\n\n\nMeet our team\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDennis Doherty\, P.E.\, F.ASCE\n\n\n\nSenior Geotechnical EngineerNASTT Hall of Fame\, Inducted 2022D:(301) 354-6111M:(603) 320-6331 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJason Heinz\, P.E.\n\n\n\nPrincipal\, Department Manager\, Geotechnical ServicesD:(319) 268-4738M:(319) 493-5163 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSam Brancheau\, P.E.\n\n\n\nGeotechnical Project EngineerD:(205) 443-5290M:(916) 230-4113 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJohn Diamond\n\n\n\nNational Director\, Trenchless Design Services D:(801) 545-9048 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVirginia Puljan\n\n\n\nAssistant Project Manager\, Geotechnical Services D:(801) 545-9065 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJohn Haas\n\n\n\nOffice ManagerD:(303) 454-5265
