Rules and guidance defining WOTUS have been continually evolving since the inception of the CWA\, and a proposed revised WOTUS rule was recently published in the Federal Register on February 14\, 2019. We performed a rapid assessment of impacted soil and groundwater using a combination of hydro punch and mobile gas chromatography (GC) lab. Once adequately assessed\, impacted soil was remediated primarily by mass removal.
