Flat Earth’s expertise in archaeology and cultural resource management (CRM) complemented Terracon’s existing operations in Arkansas and surrounding regions.\n\n\n\nMetcalf Archaeological Consultants\, a firm specializing in cultural resource management services in the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains\, adding 72 employees with expertise in archaeology\, architectural history\, and software applications.[LC1] \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSocial Contribution\n\n\n\nThe Terracon Foundation demonstrated exceptional commitment to employee engagement in philanthropic projects and fundraising partnerships throughout 2024. Thanks to employee-owners who are actively engaged with the American Industrial Hygiene Assn. (AIHA)\, Terracon approved a landmark grant of $26\,000 to the AIHA Foundation (AIHF) to establish the Women in Industrial Hygiene – Terracon Leadership Scholarship. The first scholarship will be announced at AIHA Connect 2025\, and the endowed nature of the scholarship should allow one award per year in perpetuity. \n\n\n\nClimate Change Business Journal (CCBJ) Business Achievement Award \n\n\n\nADVANCING BEST PRACTICES: EMISSIONS REDUCTION \n\n\n\nIn 2024\, Terracon worked with the Salt River Pima – Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) to prepare their implementation grant application for EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) program.
