FARGO, ND – Terracon, a leading provider of environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials consulting engineering services, was recently awarded an environmental response contract within the State of North Dakota’s consultant contractor pool.
The selection allows the Industrial Commission, Department of Health, and other state agencies to utilize Terracon for a variety of environmental services. Services may include environmental response, containment reclamation, and disposal services, as well as drilling or other geotechnical services. North Dakota has used the contractor pool to seek professional consulting as a result of rupture or other release to provide environmental response, assessment, investigation, and corrective services to sites impacted from the release of fluids from oil, gas, and waste-water disposal.
Jon Ellingson, P.G., Fargo project manager, said the award is reflection of the depth of Terracon’s team. “With five offices in North Dakota we can provide a quick response from an environmental specialist to almost any location. We are very proud and honored to be working with the State of North Dakota in this capacity.”
Terracon’s offices in the state include Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Jamestown, and Minot. Each is expected to be utilized under the three-year agreement, which can be renewed up to five years. Consultant pool projects may range anywhere from $500,000 to $2 million.
