H.C. Nutting, A Terracon Company (H.C. Nutting) was selected by and contracted directly with The Ohio State University to provide construction materials testing and inspection on this new 19-story, 420 bed critical care and cancer tower. H.C. Nutting was selected because of our vast experiences with difficult foundation systems, specifically augercast piles, as well as our reputation for high quality engineering and commitment to client service and satisfaction. The new hospital expansion consists of approximately 1 million square feet of clinical and diagnostic space adjacent to Rhodes Hall. The project is projected to be complete by the end of 2013.
