Terracon was selected by Skanska USA Building, Inc. to perform construction materials engineering testing and observation services for the new Centers of Disease Control, Division of Vector Borne Infectious Diseases Replacement Laboratory. The laboratory is located on Colorado State University's Foothills Research Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. The new four-story, 156,000-square-foot facility houses Biosafety Level 2 and 3 laboratories. The deadliest pathogens - kept in Biosafety Level 4 labs - are housed in the Centers for Disease Control facility in Atlanta, GA.
