Terracon's Manchester office is located in the heart of New Hampshire's "Queen City," in a historic shoe factory building situated along the Merrimack River. The Manchester office was originally founded in 1986 by Gary Jaworski, Ph.D., P.E., as Jaworski Geotech, Inc. (JGI). The multiple disciplines offered by Dr. Jaworski and his early staff are still our specialty today. Many original client relationships established by Dr. Jaworski continue to this day, as long-term clients and client referrals comprise the majority of our business. JGI merged with Terracon in 2007, becoming part of the national, award-winning, employee-owned consulting firm, and providing a reliable presence in the New England region. The primary services offered to clients in both the public and private sectors include geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering and testing. In addition, the Manchester office provides hazardous building materials services (asbestos, lead paint, and mold related services), Special Inspections, and we have a certified soils and concrete laboratory. The professional staff consists of geotechnical engineers, geologists, hydrologists, environmental scientists, and project managers. Projects span several business sectors including transportation, energy, federal, telecommunications, education, healthcare, and commercial and retail development.

Legacy Place is a lifestyle center consisting of approximately 675,000 square feet with close to 80 shopping, dining, and entertainment venues.

Terracon provided construction materials engineering and testing services for the entire project site to the developer and for individual tenant spaces to multiple clients. Numerous technicians were onsite for approximately 16 months during construction monitoring and inspecting earthwork activities, as well as masonry, asphalt pavement, and specialty testing services.

In 2003, plans began for New Hampshire's first utility-scale wind farm in Lempster. The wind farm went online in 2008 and has 12 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 24 megawatts and an annual production of more than 70,000 megawatt hours. The project provides electricity to the region through the Public Service of New Hampshire grid.

On behalf of the Lone Pine Hunter's Club (LPHC), Terracon completed a Supplemental Site Investigation (SSI) and Remedial Action Plan (RAP) in accordance with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) Contaminated Site Management Rules Env-Or 600 for the rifle and pistol shooting ranges located at 112 Rideout Road in the town of Hollis, N.H.
