Recent clients of the Cedar Falls office include John Deere Inc., Fagen Inc., the University of Northern Iowa, along with local architects, contractors, and civil engineers.

Isle of Capri Hotel and CasinoGeolocation: 42.4928, -92.343
Terracon provided geotechnical and construction materials engineering and testing services for the nine-story Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino. This included full-time observations of drilled shaft installation and post-tension concrete construction. In addition, the casino was constructed over water to meet the Iowa gaming requirements, utilizing special subgrade construction.

Terracon provided geotechnical and construction materials engineering and testing for the $100-million reconstruction of the John Deere Foundry Facility in Waterloo, Iowa.
Shell Rock Ethanol Production FacilityGeolocation: 42.7126, -92.5815
Terracon provided geotechnical, construction materials engineering and testing, and environmental services on the 100 MGY ethanol plant constructed in 2007 on a known karst site. Due to the site, special foundation design recommendations were provided.
