USACE Geo Lab Testing

Terracon’s Lenexa, Kan. office was chosen to perform geotechnical laboratory testing for the U.S. Corps of Engineers – Kansas City District.  Terracon’s Kansas City laboratory is AASHTO certified and currently in the process of being validated by the Corps of Engineers in areas of hot mix asphalt, aggregate, soils, Portland cement concrete and rock.  With over 10,000 square feet available for laboratory use, the office provides centralized lab testing services for specialized soils and lab testing. 

Terracon is also committed to providing quality services and well-trained personnel to our clients through a comprehensive quality system. We have reached this level through the development of our internal Quality System Manual (QSM) and internal procedures manual, both of which have been audited by the Corps of Engineers, AASHTO, A2LA and various DOTs. Our systems avoid errors in the laboratory testing process and have resulted in successful accreditation for these offices.
