OLATHE, Kan. — Kevan D. Sharp, P.E., has joined Terracon’s corporate office as the senior vice president for special projects. Sharp’s initial responsibilities will focus on developing a new training program for project managers and expanding specialty design services for geotechnical and environmental services.
“Kevan is highly experienced in the industry with a long-term record of success,” said David Gaboury, P.E., Terracon president and CEO. “We look forward to his proven management background helping us to continue to grow and bring great value to clients.”
He brings 27 years of senior management experience with CH2M Hill, most recently serving as business group risk manager for a firmwide business unit. Sharp has a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering, a master’s degree in civil engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, all from Utah State University. He previously served as chairman of technical committees for ASFE and ASCE/GeoInstitute.
