Sharp Joins Terracon as SVP for Special Projects

OLATHE, Kan. — Kevan D. Sharp, P.E., has joined Terracon’s corporate office as the senior vice president for special projects. Sharp’s initial responsibilities will focus on developing a new training program for project managers and expanding specialty design services for geotechnical and environmental services.

“Kevan is highly experienced in the industry with a long-term record of success,” said David Gaboury, P.E., Terracon president and CEO. “We look forward to his proven management background helping us to continue to grow and bring great value to clients.”

He brings 27 years of senior management experience with CH2M Hill, most recently serving as business group risk manager for a firmwide business unit. Sharp has a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering, a master’s degree in civil engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, all from Utah State University. He previously served as chairman of technical committees for ASFE and ASCE/GeoInstitute.
